Kosah Foundation aims to inspire and nurture youths

The Kosah Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) that was created with a vision to improve the quality of life for residents in Canarsie, Brooklyn, by advancing economic and professional development within the community. Founded by Kojo Mensah and Chioma Okpala (Chief Executive Officer), the Kosah Foundation aims to inspire and nurture youths within the community by facilitating scholastic programming, career development and mentorship services. The last few years of Kosah Foundation have been very successful, gaining the attention of notable officials. In 2019, one of our premier events "Canarsie Day" was recognized as an official day by the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams.
